Hello Filip, thank you for sharing this very nice video of the Czech Railways. I would like to ask you which graphics settings you have used within Open Rails, as I am using this train simulator too favouring the Beautiful Bratislava/Hohenau/Breclav-Prague/Bohumin Bohumin route made by Zbynek Señora.

Hello, thank you for nice comment. :) I do not use anything special about Open Rails, it is just base Monogame version of the game. My in game settings are : Dynamic Shadows, Shadows for all shapes, and model instancing. Viewing distance is set to 2500 m and viewing distance distant mountains is set to 40 Km. Object density is set to 10. I use double overhead wires and "Multisampling" or Anti-aliasing is set to 2x. Daylight brightness is on 100%. In the card "experimental" level of details is set to 100%. I only use different textures of the skies. And, I think, that I have changed some registers in the game via regedit to get better, more sharp and realistic shadows, but I am limited with hardware, so this, what you see on video, is the best I can get from my PC. :)

@@filipmytnik2535 Hello Filip, thank you so much for your kind reply. I will compare your Open Rails settings with mine to see if I can get more out of my NVidia graphics engine. I will appreciate of course when you will share more CD-activities in Open Rails (with al little more outside views..), Czech Railways are as far as I am concerned, on top of all European railways in terms of variety in rolling stock, scenery, the great marshalling yards, stations, everything which make it great fun to ride. Zbynek Semora (BP), Jan Palan (Trat 321) and many others of your countrymen have done great jobs to make this all possible. One day I will visit the Czech Republic to watch the real Czech Railways. @@fredsoer9962 To get as most performance from your PC as possible, you should use any of the "NewYears Monogame" Open Rails versions. I do not understand how do the different game engines work, but generally it is said (and I have tried it many times) that Monogame version of the game uses the CPU, memory and grapihcs more efficiently than the normal Open Rails, which runs I think on XNA. So, if you do not already, try Newyears Monogame version of Open Rails. Then what you can do is limit your FPS in your PC. I do not know if you experience something like me, but without FPS limitation, tracks BP and Trat 321 were kind of "lagging", not freezing but my FPS was changing between 20 and 50 FPS, which caused something like "bugnee" effect on the screen. Limiting your FPS will help with that, any value from 15 to 30 FPS (Depending on your PC, I use 19-25) should help you. Some guys tried some tweaks with ReShade in Open Rails, but it has significant effect on performance of the game, so I decided not to use it. And, yes, I agree with you about Czech Republic. I´m from Slovakia, we are very, very similar countries, 28 years ago we were one country... Railway network in Czech Republic is really great, nice, smooth tracks, new stations and stops, 160 kph pretty much in every main track, huge depot areas, marshalling yards, terminals. And the best thing is the service itself. The number of trains, passenger or freight is enormous, since Czech Republic is in the middle of main trainsit routes. It is nothing special to see two trains in one direction, one overtaking another on track. And czech people are great as well. But if I should compare countryside, I think that Slovakia is a little bit more interesting too look at, I have travelled between these two countries many times in real life, through pretty much every border crossing by train. But my country can not compare with CR in railway infrastructure, or service.... I hope that this time will end soon, and we will be able to travel again. I miss it... :)

@@filipmytnik2535 Hello Filip, yeah, thanks for the good advice! I am already using ORTS "New Years Monogame", it was recommended at the forum of Elvas Tower. For sure it is a Open Rails variety that causes all activities to run more smoothly for reasons you already mentioned. At the same forum, they spoke also about the Reshade option, and I gave it a try too. At this very moment I am using only a few shades (most of them are without any added value or don't change anything in the graphics), not affecting the performance whatsoever, and these ones I am using are contributing to a more realistic view. By the way, I have changed the FPS to a fixed value of 60, about the maximum on my nVidia card, and it really makes a difference, no more "lagging" and/or "stuttering", so thanks for this great advice! Talking about Slovakia, this is too a great railway country, one of my favourite routes on Trat 321 is the one from Zvolen to Zilina (EC 222 Detvan), such a wonderful scenery, very well done, build so realistic , highly recommended if you don't happen to know this gorgeous track. One day I will hope to travel this route in real life.

Ja nijak. Niektoré vozne proste tie animácie majú, iné nie. Klávesy na otvrávanie dverí poznalo už pred 10 rokmi MSTS :)
