Where did you get the Amfleet Cars? I can't find them anywhere on the internet and it would be really helpful if you had a link to it. And how did you get the doors to open on the Acela? I can not do it.

greetings sir...can you guide me as to how to run this route in open rails??? I transferred all the relevant files from MSTS to their respective folders in open rails but whenever I run this route, an error comes that "open rails activity runner stopped working"...please guide me as to how to solve this error????

You use Open Rails as standalone or have a complete install of MSTS?

World of Open Rails Actually my PC having Windows 7 OS has MSTS installed & my laptop having Windows 8 OS has Open Rails installed... and there are some routes which require all the 6 default routes to run correctly... that's when I copied the 4 main MSTS folders I.e. "GLOBAL, ROUTES, SOUND, TRAINS" into their respective folders in Open Rails...but faced the error as mentioned above...I am able to run other routes which are independent of MSTS...please help

If you have MSTS installed, i recommend to install other routes into the MSTS folder. Do not forget to install "Xtracks", MSTS Bin, and other recommended patches in yout MSTS Install.

World of Open Rails Sir...I think you are not understanding my question... I want to run the 6 default routes which are present in MSTS in Open Rails... I tried doing that but am failing with lots of errors... so what is required to run those routes in open rails???will I require some other files as well or it's just impossible to run them in open rails??? because these routes run perfectly fine in my MSTS but fail to run in Open Rails....

This original MSTS default(y) route is so rife with errors it should have been shot long ago. Even Open Rails platform wont help or improve it. The much better version is NEC v4 from Vince Cockeram.far more correct and realistic with both Amtrak and CSX lines between Phila & Washington.

Once I got V4, I completely abandoned using the default NEC in favor of using V4 to create activities. I only kept the default NEC around for the sake of installing routes that require items from all six of the default routes. The same goes for Marias Pass after I got Marias Pass v3.1, which has improved gradients (making it easier to operate long freight trains over the grades).
