0:50 Fun Fact: Not only was the Director of this movie the creator of Cow and Chicken but he also was the head of story for the first Open Season movie. Since Scared Silly is meant as a follow up to the first Open Season movie and ignores the continuity of 2 and 3, it's kinda an equivelant of much of the Millenium Godzilla films. Most of them are meant to be follow ups to the original 1954 movie ignoring the other movies, even ignoring themselves. I mean, which movie do you think is the true follow up to the original classic? Godzilla Raids Again? Godzilla 2000, Godzilla vs Megaguirus, Giant Monsters All Out Attack or Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla? They all follow the same path. It also reminds me of Gargoyles in a sense. Greg Weisman, one of the key people during creation of the show was not pleased with the Goliath Chronicles season of the show. With exception of the first episode which he wrote, he considers that part of Gargoyles non-canon and he would make a comic book series based on Gargoyles as a true follow up to Season 2. BTW, am I the only one who keep thinking of Tiny Tiger from Crash Bandicoot when looking at that werewolf? Also, when I think of Ed N' Edna. For some reason, I keep thinking of Ed, Edd n Eddy. It might be because their Canadian (not to offend those who are canadian, it's just that if you know where Ed, Edd n Eddy's made, you'll know what I'm refering to) or maybe because the name of their diner "Ed N' Edna's Poutine Palace" has an N instead of an "and".

There’s also another fun fact, it’s implied to be right after open season 3, and they don’t have the characters from said movies, are they in the hunting grounds from the first movie, are they in the camp forest from the second movie, where does this takes place in, I mean mr weenie is wearing his sweater from open season 2 & 3, but they mostly referenced the first one, and shouldn’t Beth be in timberline and noticing boog, did she leave timberline and moved somewhere, does this mean boog is like a circus bear in which doesn’t have a home other then his actors room, where does this takes place!😢

marianne mccrank disagree with you, why, because Open Season 2 & 3 were made for two years apart, they ended it with the third film and like toy story 3 Open Season 3 WAS a strong conclusion and that’s what I love about The third one, and it WAS the best of Open Season but not the best film by Sony Pictures Animation thus far, because Into the spider verse, Open Season scared silly is suppose to be an anniversary special for the film’s 10th anniversary, but in the end they decided to make a confusing tv special that was suppose to be on Halloween and MAKE IT REALLY RUSHED AND SO HARD UGH! Just UGH!, they should’ve ended on Open Season 3, I’m sounding like a kid, because we’re in kids at heart okay, we have different perspectives on things.

If I had to make an Open season sequel, then It would be a "Butterfly effect" kind of plot, where Elliot accidentally gets abilities to go back in time to save Mr Weenie, however, his consequences ruin the future in many ways, so he has to get things right. And yes, it's based mostly on the fact that Ashton Kutcher was in both films!

I can bet the fourth is the last one of the series. I appreciate that at least they made and tried to make a open season sequel that has continuity with the first one. I think Blue Sky needs to learn it too if they ever make a 6th Ice age by bringing in the baby back. So for this movie at least they tried their best from what I can tell. Yeah, like that’s most likely to happen since Disney purchased 20th Century Fox and they plan on making a spin-off focusing on Buck, so with their spin-off, they still plan to keep the continuity of the sequels rather than the continuity of the first film.

AT first I thought Open Season would be like the Animals of Farthing Wood, because as 30 year old from Europe, the only movies we watched either with some luck or when we had no classes at all, would be Watership Down or Farthing Wood. These series really did have the whole "Man hurts, Nature is good" theme and they delivered with such a strength I think those were the FIRST thriller genre series I watched. After having watched those as an adult, I honestly preferred these British shows than Ferngully, a movie I only managed to see because you and HewyLewis back in the early youtube days mentioned it. Portugal as a country censor anything with slightly more mature themes, but it has some difficulties listing the shit that normally traumatizes kids. But Open Season is one of those movies that back when the first movie aired, the ads were everywhere and I genuinely hoped it was going to be Ice Age except with a more modern twist. Nope...it's way worse! I mean, it certainly TRIES to rip off ice age in some of the jokes...but it...just doesn't make it.

I remember having a dream where he was more negative with this film to point he didn’t even bother reviewing the whole thing. And in the dream he said his next Classic Review would be Over the Hedge. It gave me a feeling of how the review would go. I, of course, knew that he wouldn’t give up reviewing the film, but from how his reaction was to film in my dream, I thought this one was going to be extremely negative. But I saw the video on Patreon, and it didn’t turn out the way I expected from my dream.

And so ends the kinda but slightly decent series but sweet All Might and you thought Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs the TV series had way worse amateurish animation try way to hard to be wacky and silly but here In CGI those "different new human characters" feels way off and looks nothing sweet from THIS abomination!!!! If Halloween came super early to come creepin' around to scare us with those "other designs" then we truly got a winner! Oh and there not making an "Open Season 5" jsut be thankfully there not gonna make an animated TV Series based around Open Season!! Seriously thoguh; I can count the ways and go on and on of how truly awful those epsidoes are but then I had to go full on ShadowStreak to review each episode which I ain't gonna do and as for Hotel Transylvania The Animated Series; still prefer Genndy Tartakovsky from the original credits they were based on but those other designs are more bland and meh to me. Fun Fact; David Feiss himself was one of the original directors who was original was gonna direct Hotel Transylvania himself during It's original development Instead but Genndy stepped In for him and you pretty much know the rest.

This is my favorite Open Season movie sequel and the Wailing Wampus Werewolf is one of the best new Characters in the series he deserves his own movie especially where he's the main protagonist and it was very satisfying to see Shaw finally get arrested and Open Season being permanently closed down too.
