Absolutely T O P J O B ! ! ! ! I've only just purchased my first raspberry pi and this was literally the second thing I was considering using the pi for, it's only been my lack of understanding that thought that the Arduino might have it's limitations but it looks like it might be the other way around. I can't believe how few views there are on this video when for me it's been the second video that I found/watched in relation to open source ECU's. I will definitely be making one as I can see areas where performance gains can be easily had for a relatively low cost. Maybe it's just me that sees this project having massive potential for everyone from engine builders, tuning and even everyday use. I think it's fucking amazing!! If only the camshafts were not mechanical, if it were possible to control valve timing this could turn the meekest of engines into a snarling beast!! Fuck I'm only 3 years out of touch on this one!!! F U C K I N G A W E S O M E W O R K ! ! !

I think this is the only KZbin video I've ever seen without a single dislike. Great work, for the kind of builds I do existing ECU/Tuning solutions cost more than I have in the car so it's not worth the added performance over just using a carburetor. I'll definitely have to give this a try.

I’ve used two of these systems for customers, one being a small block ford and the other an LS. For about a third the cost of say a Holley, Edelbrock, FAST etc.... you get a very good system. And the bigger companies all advertise their systems as being capable of “self tuning” (a base map is auto corrected based on wideband readings, does not tune for wot), the Speeduino can do the same thing via Tuner Studio

It doesn't need Tuner Studio at all. I believe he left it like that to show support for TunerStudio, as people will buy it for the the silly auto tune.

He talk about Speeduino. So, on 13:12 - is it must be exactly this way (CMP fall before CKP), or other variations is possible, for example CKP fall before CMP?

LM2940 (26V max) will soon burned out in 12V vehicles soon, even with 24V protection variastor (TVS) in the front.
