Open Source Pandemic Ventilator for $200: the OpenVentilator.io Spartan Model Mk 1 intro.

This video is an introduction to the OpenVentilator.io Spartan Model Mk. 1. The Spartan Mk. 1 is a crowd sourced and open source ventilator design that can be built for around $200.
THIS IS NOT YET MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. THIS IS BEING RELEASED FOR ENGINEERING, LAB AND MEDICAL TESTING. NOT FOR CLINICAL USE.
This is something that I have been working on over the last few months with a team from all over the world.

Hi, possibly a carbon filter of some type could be used with the truck tire bellows to provide a clean air source. I passed this information on to the Pandemic Ventilator Design Team. Very well done.

thanks! The intake module (not shown in this video, although in the design documentation) is identical to the exhaust module. We are thinking UV plus Hepa sterilization, but that is honestly one of the areas we would love to know more about from a biomed lab that can test the efficacy of filtration and sterilization methods. We can just test flow.
