Hello bro, yes you can use submarines. Some of them only use torpedos, other missiles, and some use both. There are even drone submarines as well! Hope this helps and thank you for the comment!

⁠no wonder y I felt like it was so weak. Recently I have switched to Jackknife, since Jackknife + Strikeswitch combo is super powerful
