I plan on buying this as soon as it's updated with hand animations, it looks great and you guys have done an awesome job. It's also nice to see that you update it regularly and reply to your fan base. Beyond motion, the most important animations to me are combat. I'd love to see some gun animations (I know this one has already been requested), throwing for grenades and knives or shuriken, and some stealth kills would be great. Interacting is also nice, so picking up items, examining guns, looking through draws and cupboards, etc. Any plans for this kind of thing? Keep up the great work, thank you for making this pack.

Hi Dave, thanks for the comment, we actually just published the new update version (1.1) and it’s being reviewed by Epic so it should be live fairly soon. This is the first pass on the combat animations and we be constantly updating them as we release new versions. This has no hand, Combat and Strafe(unarmed) in 4.26.0, 4.25.3, 4.24.3. i don't think version 1.1 is there in these versions. please respond and is there anyway to help this.

Can I learn how to go from sprinting to the drive roll (featured at 46/47 seconds) back to sprinting by following your root motion tutorial series? Also do you have or intend on making any more like that? I've struggled to find much in the way of dive/rolls for animations packs. Cheers!

Great pack! Planning to buy it and several others for my project.. thx for your work! two question, does this open world anim pack includes fbx files too in case if we wanna retarget animations outside of ue4? :) All animation root motion derived? no In Place animation added into this pack?

Hi there, thanks for checking the asset out. All the animations are Root motion derived and in regards to Fbxs being provided. If you need to edit any animations you can right mouse click and export them as a FBX which is probably the best way to do it other than providing raw fbxs.

Does this have ledge climbing animations (like assaassins creed) such as moving side to side, turning corners, idle ect for ledges?

Hi Skipie03, we don't currently have the hanging on ledge animations in the pack, we have 33 vaulting and ledge pullups, 2 free climbs and 25 jumps - we can add the ledge climbs to the list for a future update though, probably would be included in v1.4. There are plenty of other locomotion animation to choose from in the pack to help build out a system in the meantime. As for animations I would like, anything parkour-ish like ledges, perches, or tight rope walking not sure what else to call that last one:) But Im going to buy the pack anyway. These look great, I wonder how well these would transfer to a true first person character. I'm kinda going for an outlast styled movement system and that would need forward, backwards, left and right strafing when walking running and crouched ect.

Here are some suggestions to add even more value to the pack: -Add shotgun shooting animations. There's literally no animations for shotgun shooting currently on marketplace. -Add the animations in several states (crawl shoot, crouch shoot, crawl reload, etc) I would say make a separate pack for just weapons animations, which includes all different types of weapons (assault rifles, pistols, revolver, shotguns, sniper, RPGs, etc). You should also add cover animations for each weapon or make a separate "Cover" animation package. You will for sure stand out, just like this pack did. I know its easier said than done, and I'm sure everyone here knows that. That's why, people would (I for sure would) pay a good premium for such a weapons pack because there's literally none currently. The mocap rifle animset (just rifles) sold for $150, and not just one or two sales but many, and it's total garbage. I wouldn't mind such price if its quality work. This current pack shows you can do quality work so I would really urge you to do something like this. Thanks for reading.

Hi Jimmy, thanks for the excellent list. We have actually recorded a full shotgun animation set to include in v1.2 which is our next update. We want to try and include as many animations in the one pack to allow buyers confidence in our asset and not needing to buy multiple packs. That's great! Looking forward to the update. Just another suggestion for the shotguns animations: it would be amazing if you can account for the different types of shotguns. There are some old school pump shotguns, some have chambers to open (for instance, beretta dt11) and insert bullets, and some are semi auto like the M4 shotgun. I can send you the different models of the shotguns if you need models to base the animations off of. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Pretty cool stuff! Good to know that it will come for Unity as well since we switched from UE4 to Unity for an Game project test. Question: These animations are rigged to the Epic skeleton. We figured that Unity / Mixamo seems to use different Bone structures on their basic ones and within a lot of plugins (like the Motion Controller from Ootii. Are you going for an conversion or do we need an UE4 Mannequin like skeleton bone hierarchy for using these animations? After all, i wouldn't mind having both bone-sets to test which solution looks more fluid. Good work! All best, Kaji

Hi Kaji, sorry I must have missed your comment, yes they have been rigged to the Epic skeleton, however this was from our base mocap skeleton which we designed to handle conversions between most game engines (Unity, Unreal, CryEngine..) The unity store seems to have a much longer asset review time so we are currently waiting on that. Cheers!

Hi Tar, yes if you create a custom socket on the head bone and then parent a custom camera to it that handles the FPS look around it will work perfectly. That is a really nice set you have! I am looking forward to seeing it in Unity Asset Store. I have a question. Are FBX files included for those of us wishing to customise and adapt animations? It would also be nice to have animations where a character talks, sits on a chair or kills some time while leaning against a wall. These make crowds much more lifelike. However, you do not see animations of this kind in packs very often.

Thanks Mike! Yes, no controller as of right now, I have made a tutorial series to show how to create one from scratch using the pack though. I’ll probably include a controller in a future update. We’ve been working on adding more animations to the pack in the next update. I plan to support this product long into the future. 👍🏼

I will sure buy this pack, but I would be really happy if you could add some animations like bow shooting, spear throwing, spear fighting, knife fighting and such (animations in survival game, something like hunger games) then I would definitely buy this pack and recommend you.
