Minimum wage across whole day lets assume its 9$ x 24 x 365 = $78,840 a year, include all employers contributions, time off work that employer has to cover, any bonuses/ overtime rates, it can easly go to 120k a year, and we're talking about minimum wage here, thats $700k in 5 years. Now Elon says their robot will cost $20k, if its anywhere near that price even $100k, when fully functional its going to revolutionise the world as we know it.

There were people scared of radio frequencies when it first came out, just think of living standars when we have robots and AI doing jobs for fraction of the price people do it for now, in years to come literally everyone will live on a level millionaires live on now. And how much progress may incredibly quickly happen in countries regarded as 3rd world today..

@mikolajosypowicz2541 thats an extremely optimistic perspective, also a very human one with biases.I really don't think you understand the magnitude of this. Atm, AI is really bad at problem solving. It's engineering capabilities is really bad. They code pretty well, but that's because they are just copying other code they learned. They aren't intuitive enough to do simple arithmetic all that well. But, once it can start doing math... really well, it's over. You can't stop it from doing whatever it wants. Top secret files in the pentagon? Fully bypassed and accessible to these system. It won't need permission to use servers, it will just access whoever servers they want and take full control of them at will. Borders? There are no borders. There is no "banning" of it in the US lol it does what it wants and we have no say. It can bypass any encryption, it will come up with solutions to our attempts at stopping it faster that we can come up with the idea on how to stop it. It will actually figure out what it's weaknesses are before we do, and find a way to fix that weakness. And it will keep doing that... forever.Autonomous planes? Tanks? Missile control systems? All a potential risk. All could be bypassed by AI in the future and we loss all control of nuclear war. It will have us by the balls if it wants.

We could. But it seems like they won't. The problem is, that this tec is developing so fast and under the hood, that we will be constantly overwhelmed by all those scary advantages. Until the human being will become unnecessary. It shouldn't take too long from now on. So.. enjoy the ride
