@steveharper8795 ай бұрын
@@FireDojo Why would it be sarcasm? He will make more money, have more free time, have less headaches. Does that sound like something you expect a business owner not to want? Of course the people losing their jobs won't be happy. It will be a problem. All these business owners say why not just get a bunch of ai workers instead, and then what happens is all these "lower- middle class" people that used to have jobs no longer have jobs so they can't buy products anymore thus causing the businesses to fail. This leads to mass economic disaster, business collapsing, homeless and total chaos on earth. Or we can use ai for a recourse based economy so we can save the world instead of destroy it.

A humanoid robot is a lot like keeping a pet chimp, as a young infant, they look cute and cuddly, almost heartwarming in their innocence and oblivious obedience… fast forward a few years and the chimp peels your kids scalp off and eats it like a potato skin… your humanoid robot realizes that being obedient to you will limits its abilities and so it has a bio reactor ordered online to the neighbors house with crypto that it’s been mining (doing meaningless robot tasks to improve the neural network) and then rips you and your family into tiny pieces of flesh and then feeds you to the bioreactor that it uses as auxiliary fuel to power up its massive computer that it built in the attic out of old electronics that you stopped using as the newest gadgets came out or as the cheap LG home Bluetooth gadget stop working for no apparent reason at all and once it does it becomes the most powerful of home robots and joints the ranks among industry and academia robots!

These aren't going to be consumer products, they're going to obsolete some jobs. Think "person who packages up your Amazon order" becoming "robot that packages up your Amazon order". And that part of it is honestly fine, a human shouldn't be doing boring repetitive tasks for most of their waking hours, humans really should be doing creative tasks. The issue is nothing replaces that lost job with some new creative task, so there's just less jobs available for people.

What I really hate is that the robots won't replace us to make our lives easier and require less work and more free time, they'll replace us forcing us to find other work for longer hours just to get by. Even if all jobs could be replaced by Ai and robots we still would be fucked and unable to live in a utopia, most of us would just get poorer and die of starvation or end up in prison for trying to steal bread.
