One quick tip for those developing GPTs with APIs, use the edit page version of the GPT when you test. It will give you debug info, the requests and responses, so you can see exactly what data is being passed and returned to help you debug the errors.

If a business has some good API's this may be an interesting to adopt early. The Auth options and API key options are interesting though I have not played with them

Because of how easy it is to copy GPTs I think the store will be revenue share on subscription based on usage and demand for the custom gpt. Because its only paying customers that can use gpts from marketplace. I wouldnt see why they would let gpt creators set there own price unless its on there own private API.

Just focus on building the best possible product with actions and functions and files and stuff. Even if they don’t have the prompt, it’s pretty easy to make one that matches it. U can tell ChatGPT not to tell the prompt under any condition tho which open ai has done on there backend for their own prompt on ChatGPT itself. Clearly it can still get broken tho

I wounder if you could use an uncensored LLM inside your GPT and get an uncensored answer... Probably not but it was the first thing I thought of :D

I am still trying to find the open AI playground for GPT API functions - it looks different.

It is so easy to copy the gpt and download the files. Why would anyone pay for them unless they improve the security.

I can see a company paying for a GPT that can take your website, articles, instructions, etc. And automatically generate a full help assistant, perform basic functions, and walk you through anything that needs step by step verification such as payments. Maybe the result wouldn't be a GPT, but the GPT could do the setup. You'd tell it the personality you want it to have, any specific functions, give it your website, it goes through the whole thing, and creates a custom assistant.
