Pro plan is interesting not due to 128k context window (it is just a nice bonus). It is interesting due to **lack of immensely irritating message limits**. For most people my comment can seem strange, because all they do inside ChatGPT can be done within 5 messages. But for anyone who uses Chat to create prompts with reliably reproducible outputs will understand me.

There are still limits when the platform is highly busy (there is a litle star), about the limits, you could also conside purchasing a second account, then you have twice as much messages . You could also purchase the teams subscription which has double limits. for only 5 dollars per month more. Why purchase 200 dollars per month?

Really great video! I wish I could afford it but for now I'll stick with Hoody AI because I don't see how the price is justified, it's literally the same models but 50x cheaper and it also gives you access to Anthropic, no brainer :/ You might want to make a video about Opnrouter for devs too!

Yeah those proxy are pretty useful tbh, not sure how long they gonna last until OpenAI says "STOP" to it, I don't know if they actually tolerate those services or if they just don't know how to block them. Mystery.

Love GPT! It did a civil lawsuit filing, and two motions, better than I could do, in minutes. I also just began an aviation thing for pilots using AI. It's great, if they don't use it for harm, which they will.

I say it sucks for us poor people because now we can't really be able to get it, because of how expensive it is, But I guess it's also great for big companies or regular companies who are really wanting to take this seriously, So I guess that's why it's $200 because it's a pretty powerful model, but who knows honestly

You can purchase the APi or the teams subscription. But know that claude sonnet 3.5 v2 is actually better then the openai models. This might change now that 4.5 is going to be released next week.

I just saw the Forbes article ... $200 a month! Wow! What are the additional capabilities? How accurate is it? It said that it could do advanced reasoning for days weeks or months. For whom is this best advised? Of course I would like to experiment with it, but that's cost prohibitive for a lot of people. But so far for the o1, I felt it gave me shorter answers which i am okay since it actually does the job i want. I just hope the steps to reach to that answer was correct. Since you know they 'hide' the thinking process 😅

Did you all notice that the o1 mini is super nerfed?? The responses are very bad like either forgetting what I want it to do or just answers wrongly. I hope you can bring this to light sir, o1 mini was dumbed down after the announcement making it hard for me to discuss marketing with it O1 was improved but they purposely nerf the other models.

Subscription models are predatory. It’s arguable some aren’t, depending on the service and quality, but it is generally predatory. I miss purchasing software and paying for upgrades or added functionality. As we all know, subscription models have been introduced in the 17 century and eventually abandoned this model because of consumer backlash, dissatisfaction and subscription fatigue. Historically this repeated 4 times, (Look it up for yourself. It started with newspapers.) History repeating!

I am not into GPT much any more because for my usecase Claude does a much better job; my usecase is development and mathematics (for masters in AI). I would like to know what strategies exist for using GPT o1 without the Pro subscription. Is there a custom GPT client where I can input my key and just use o1?

I don't know what benchmark they used but at least regarding to Coding, o1 is far worse than o1-preview. It feels like it performs about as good as o1-mini but maybe not even that. I would consider paying 200$ a month in the future if the models delivered what is promised but with the current state it is not worth it at all!

Its really hard to find usecases... ChatGPT 4.0 is great for what Im paying, its very good tool for productivity boost. But its also hard to make direct profit other that productivity boost. Besides from assistants, are there many AI agents? I dont see them. And also many companies dont want to share their private data with OpenAI, so they want to use private LLMs, which are not as powerful. So 200k is lots of money and I will only get slightly better asistant? Im not living in US, so 200k is not small money :-( But I will consider it when it will provides even more productivity boost.
