After the Manhattan Bridge renovations were complete. So early 2004.

@@adammars1438 Yup, April 2004 if I remember correctly. Apparently, the D was routed via West End so the B Train can go back to being a Part-Time Route while late-night West End riders got a one-seat ride to Manhattan. Though REAL OGs know the D is a Brighton Route! :P

@@adammars1438 During the Manhattan Bridge renovation the B and D trains terminated at 34th Street-Herald Square. But in the 90s (when the orange Q was around) the B used to go on West End and the D went Brighton Local while the Q used to go expresss on Brighton and 6th Avenue (Brighton Beach to 21st Street-Queensbridge)

I was 11 years old back in 1987, l remember seeing train cars in graffiti when l was 3 years old on many car groups until when l was 9 to 15 years old many younger cars that had gotten their overhauls Older equipment mostly did get, they been replaced by stainless steel aluminum car fleets of the 3rd generation car groups, for all cars to be air conditioned and graffiti free as we all know!
