I wonder if they said they overpaid, because I read they were sued for not disclosing that they might do better with a regular realtor, who doesn't do all the work that might need to be done for the home to sell. Saying you overpaid contradicts that you may have underpaid. There was a man at my husband's church who wanted to live with us until he could find a home for his family, in another state. This was before Open Door.. I think it could really help people like this.

How could Opendoor add significant value for shareholders and send their shares skyrocketing? By not flipping all the homes they buy. Rent them out. Years and years of reliable rental income.
