Chris Sutton , for me is a Celtic LEGEND a brilliant man and player he is as straight as they come , his honesty off the field is as honerable off the field as it was on the field , personally how Strachan treated him breaks my heart , he loved Celtic FC , and i hope he always will , the supporters where the lucky ones to watch this special guy like many others who have graced the Green and White Hoops . With all HEART i hope that life is good for this man and his Family . The way he was forced out of our club like many others leaves a bitter taste in my mouth .. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CHRIS ..

Sutton and Larsson was my favourite duo.. Hartson too but felt Sutton and Larsson together were telepathic at times. Great guy, dry sense of humour and great banter.

A little bit emotional for me because my Dad was a regular from 1971 until he passed away last year and in all that time Chris Sutton was his favourite Celtic player that he saw in all that time. Great interview boys and thanks to the Celtic legend that is Chris Sutton.

What I love about Big Chris Sutton is that he's one of a group of Englishmen who completely got what Celtic Football Club are all about right from the get go, from Big Peter Latchford in the 1970s right up to Big Joe Hart in 2021 & not forgetting that he was an awesome Hunskelper too!!

Never had much time for Sutton as a pundit, I realise now that I've just misunderstood him, he's a wind up merchant and a good laugh. Top episode, great tae see the 1 too 1's back 👍

Saw Chris walk past my office door near the bbc where he works and couldn't resist telling him I enjoyed his performances for England, tongue obviously in cheek. Solid player though in all fairness and everyone rates him for his Blackburn and celtic seasons. Lots of high quality forwards in his era for England.

I played in Stephen Crainey's Holy Family Primary school team and then Charlie Mulgrew played in the team the year Crainey left. They both played the same position, weirdly. Crainey was unreal back then, only player in his bracket back then was Stephen Cosgrove who played Man U U-21 then Ipswich.

Always loved big Chris, he was under rated as a player still in many ways . I’ve never seen anyone that could win and hold up a ball no matter what, he was able to stop his opponent without fouling or without ref seeing it somehow 🤣 but he wasn’t just a big lanky stick your head on it, his touch was very god, he could pass, was a good header of the ball , a good tackler and of course played centre back , he was strong , wasn’t fast but wasn’t super slow and his strength meant he didn’t have to be fast,he was a guy you could and would play him just about every week, you could play him upfront or at centre back and he gave his all. How he only got one cap I don’t know but let’s be honest England thought Scottish football was so poor they didn’t really look at Celtic or rangers players at the time , which is crazy bcos Sutton and Thompson could of and should of had more caps. I also love how si and slaney even know he gave them it when they were young and even in this interview he was digging at slaney you can see how much they respect him and liked him and pretty much said it themselves that they slagging when they were young done them good and they were just so happy a big star was chatting to them then. I do think ppl take Chris wrong ,he’s just passionate and straight to the point , I like that even on the tv and papers he doesn’t mince his words he just says what he truly feels. Also he mentioned that his dad passed away on on Boxing Day and had been ill for years and I’m sure a lot of us know he had dementia , as some one who lost a gran to the same thing and lived with and cared for her through it I really feel for Chris, especially since you could see how much he adored his dad and always had and it must have been so tough as with dementia you basically see the person you love crumble slowly mentally and physically infront of you and the most clever calm ppl can become irrational and aggressive, it’s just sad so I feel for chris and anyone going through similar. Your dad would always have been proud of you and I’m sure still looks down on you and is proud big fella. Thanks for the years of entertainment watching you at paradise 💚🍀
