No, 2K Support clarified that you can use other people's accounts, but that the owness is on the person who the account belongs to should any items disappear. tldr; Yes you can, but if another person deletes stuff, you won't get it back.

Everyone stop complaining about elemental base pro stats, there right where they should be. 36 heroics half n gold should always beat an elemental base pro, you spend 2 weekends to grind to get the pro so should hold value over a new tier base pro
