Gold is pretty much useless really. As a free to play player, I rather really prefer Premium days and credits. I barely keep some gold for resetting skills and demounting equipments. New players might feel that itch but I've played for long enough to know how WG baits people. Buy a good premium tank and use that to make credits for a premium day.

Technically he is showing you how bad the RNG is so you don't do the "Just one more" dance until your credit card declines. Plus they already gave them him for free, I know I didn't buy any until I saw the drop mechanics. The 1 thing common, all streamers I saw dropping the GSOR all did it from the "Magic" flavour of crate, so 1 bought the 75 Magic pack and dropped both tanks in the first 25 crates and got 30k gold and enough universal fragments to unlock 4 tier X tanks.

Thought I would add my experience of just opening 75 boxes... I received a total of: - 25,500 gold (plus an additional 10,650 gold for redundant tank draws) - 66 days of premium time - 4,800,000 credits - 6x Tier III tanks (Locust x4 and T15 x2) - 3x Tier V tanks (Matilda BP x3) - 2x Tier VI tanks (M4A1 FL 10 and T78) - 1x Tier VIII tank (ISU-552K) and - 4x Camo styles (ConquerorGC, AMX 13 105, STB-1 & T110E4) plus the decorations of course, which pushed me to Deco-level 10. I was really excited when I pulled 3 tanks back to back in my first 5 boxes (M4A1 & 2x Locusts). That did not last long as I went almost 25 more boxes before I saw another. My last 5 boxes once again got exciting as I pulled two more tanks back to back (ISU-152K & Locust). All in all, I felt like I got my money's worth. I got my $100 worth of gold (more than that really, enough to buy at least 3 tier VIIIs with the calendar), 2+ months of premium time, 1 new tier VIII tank and several lower tier tanks I did not already have as well as almost enough. Add in the 4 styles (although I don't have any of those tanks, was hoping to see the Maus one as I am currently building the funds to buy it). Would have liked to get the GSOR or Bisconte better but still felt content with what I got. I am a free-to-play player who spends once or twice a year (and sometimes not that) to buff myself up. While I don't agree with QB that this is total gambling, I do agree that this is not the way to grab that one must have item. I honestly believe that not only is this gambling but content creators are given higher chances for desired loot. Whenever the comment section has tons of people with disappointing results and not one content creator had bad luck - kinda makes one think. With that said, I did purchase 100 crates back in early December 2018 and had 'okay' luck and feel that the premium time and gold made up the difference. I was probably luckier than some but not as lucky as others. My value was over $200 when said and done and was rather happy with the results. I did not, however, purchase crates last winter and now with Covid and lack of job opportunities this winter, I am doubtful they are worth the risk. Merry Christmas all!!! I bought 75 boxes for $126 CAD and I got: - 37,000 gold - 4.5 million credits - 42 days of Premium Account - All the low tier premium tanks that was included in the lootbox - Bisonte C45 Tbh with y'all, I was not expecting to get a Tier 8 premium tank. I only bought it for the gold because you get way more gold here than paying for it directly. Think about it. It would have costed me $126 just to buy 25,000 gold but for the same exact price, I got 12k more gold and a whole bunch of goodies that would have costed me about $200 or more if I were to buy all these things seperately. HOWEVER, if you're gonna buy the lootboxes simply because you want a premium tank then I don't think it's worth it. You're NOT paying $100 to get a premium tank. So, QB, I bought 11 each of style boxes, 44 boxes for $80. Out of those boxes I received the ISU-152K, Bourrasque, and GSOR 1008. If they were available for purchase for, say, $60 ea., that's $180 worth of tanks for $80. Additionally, I received the M4A1FL10, M22 Locust, T15, Matilda Black Prince, as well as 3D styles “Little Bart”, “Landkreuzer” and last year's "Sekhmet". I've spent $300 to get 225 large boxes, received 4 tier 8 premium tanks, 180 days of premium account, 16 millions credits, 100,000+ golds, collected all low tier premium tanks, some of them showed up numerous times, and also all of the 2D styles including the previous year's 2D style, which I think it's totally worth every penny that I spent. put level 5 decorations aside, all of the awards received worth about $820 in total ( 100,000 golds = $400, 16 millions of credits = $80, four tier 8 premium tanks = $160, 180 days of premium account = $58, all low tier premium tanks worth about $60, 11 2D styles worth about $60) but the actual price you paid is just $300, that's roughly about 65% off the regular price, if you purchase them separately.

I agree with your dust idea, on World of Tanks Blitz, on occasion, some tanks that are available in crates will also give you charms for the tank, and if you get a certain number of charms, you get the saught after tank guarenteed, granted you would have to pay a lot for all the charms, but it gives you a safe route to the tank if you don't get it from gambling.

I bought 25 loot boxes thinking, "May as well give it a try, probs not gonna get anything exciting though," and ngl I got really lucky. From those 25 I got: - 7500 gold. - 7 days premium time. - 3D style for the Jg.Pz. E 100 and the AMX 13 105. - Bourrasque - Bisonte C45 I am very happy that I bought those 25 loot boxes.

I went into boxes wanting the gold, credits and premium time. Didn't really care for the tanks. Still got all the tanks. And lots of gold. For the gold and prem time its worth it imo.

I wanted to open 225 boxes, believe it or not ... The very first box was Bourrasque and I finally opened every premium tank in the first 75 box. And I got 41250 gold, 39 days of premium and 2 3D model. Within 75 box.... I dont know that Im lucky or not but my friends got almost the same rewards. Im so satisfied with these openings. Its 100% worth to buy cause you get way more stuff for your money then buy tanks one by one. Only bad thing is that you get all the decorations, so if you not interested at filling the last year's collections its over. Thanks WG btw.

When you open the boxes single at a time, if it glows blue you will get a tank. Orange glow is just the garbage

Bought 75 crates, got Bisonte on the 73th crate, got a lot of the skins(E100, Maus, JagdE100, 60-TP, BC25t, STB-1, amx 13 105, conq GC), ~33k gold(some were from dupe tier 6 or under prems), m4a1 FL10, Maltilda BP, and ~4M credits.
