The mutated packs drop plans you don't know yet, so the more plans that you haven't bothered to learn, the larger the pool from which it draws. If you don't learn plans like those Light Raider Legs, they will keep dropping for you while reducing the odds for the Cutting Fluid to show up.

Some of the uncommon plans from your first 20 packs have to be learned so you won't get duplicates of them in the next 30 packs. It will add slight chances to get the cutting fluid plan.

Electro fusion hatchet is actually one of the rarer plans that could drop

Congrats on the diffuser plan, I too always wanted one. Funny story: last week or so my friend needed a pic of a legendary sheepsquatch so we decided to go into project paradise and we completed it with 3 friendlies and I got the diffuser plan!! I was stoked, lol. I also have the cutting fluid. Did not read it to see if I can get more and I actually did. I gave the extra to one of my friends that helped in project paradise. Edit:typos lol

What the heck are you doing!!! You are the man that knows it all, and I can't believe you (of all people) didn't know that you need to learn some plans to get them out of your pool of plans that you can get from mutation events. All the crap from these packs weigh a ton so I only open at a train station, sell stims until I hit my vendor cap & then donate the rest to a nearby container. I open 5 at a time, learn plans, cash in legendary junk then go about my day. Also, even though a plan is useless to you learn it anyway to change the drop pool. GL with the next bunch.

P.s your equipped weapon gets 100 plus ammo if it's not a special weapon. If you need cells or shotgun ammo supper awesome

Nice vide and btw Project Paradise event I soloable.. I do it solo most of times I see it because no one joins. You don’t need to bother with all habitats, just pick one fill it up wait till passive mob spawns protect it wait for boss to spawn kill boss done… Tbh its even easier to solo it cos boss always spawn on you so you don’t need to look for it.. Onle two events that are NOT soloable are eviction notice and radiation rumble, and even radiation rumble you can solo atleast for exp but if you protect miners but you will fail for revord...

I have soloed Eviction Notice twice on Xbox using a Vampire’s Chainsaw and and Ultracite VATS critical Plasma Caster. The Perk that lets you run 20% faster helps a great deal in getting around.

BTW those packs drop ammo of the weapon u have equipped so is a good way to get some expensive ammo for weapons u use rarely but unsure how it works for plasma cores or fusion core weapons tbh

I’ve opened 64 of it and got a Bloodied Handmade with Explosive and -25 AP cost, did’nt get the cutting fluids plan but i’ll take it 😀

i am VERY SURPRISED out of your 50 packs you’ve only gotten the Peacemaker GL only ONCE!! i have gotten that lame weapon so many times i hated it. At least i also got the diffuser plan.

In my Party packs (51) i got cutting Fluid and 6 overkills, 3 boomsticks, 5 peacemakers and 2 Snipers (don't know the name)

I opened 50 packs the other day and the only good thing I got was 1 plan for cutting fluid which I didn't know and haven't learned it yet so I can try and farm them as the "last one I don't have" when the events come back next week

You need to learn those plans or you'll just get duplicates. As others have mentioned it pulls from plans you don't know.

Damn I have recently starting playing fallout 76 have been loving playing the game I'm surprised you didn't get the cutting fluid plan and just got the defuser plan I didn't know how lucky I am to have gotten both of those plans

Made a character for my son. So far it's gotten cutting fluid, stimpak diffuser, BOS PA skin and the Forest camo jumpsuit to add insult to injury. 😂

Okay, I'm lost ... why is cutting fluid so important? From what I've seen it's not used in any recipes and only gives you oil from rather expensive acid. What am I missing here?

This is just anecdotal but I think I have gotten a 3 star legendary every time I opened a mutant pack. That is until I opened like 12 at once and I got 8.

if you where on PC i would give you the cutting fluid plan. but honestly why do you want it so bad? all it does it let you swap other junk for oil. oil is pretty easy to get anyway

My last 15 packs did not get me any plans so you are lucky. Do anyone know if it is better to save up mutated packs and open more at one occasion or is droprate same if you open one at a time? Seems some servers get stuck in good mood and gives you better rolls than others.

One at a time or all at once does not matter...however do not do what he did. Learn the plans your given at the time you are given them or else they are still in the pool of plans you can still get and you will end up with doubles you do not want. Even if it's something you do not see yourself using just learn it and your chances of getting one you do want goes up.

@@therealharshlycritical yes...all true. But he still waited until the event was over to open them. Still a good video just missed the mark by about two weeks in my opinion is all. Just fyi...not really a criticism, there were about 600 hours of events so his 100 packs is roughly 17% of the available packs. Now you tell me anywhere on the planet where that is a passing grade. I think it's a pretty fair critique to say this video is atleast two weeks late and missed out on soooo much community interest.

You kind of screwed yourself, the packs only give you plans you don't know so if you would have read them as you got them you wouldn't get duplicates
