It was fun watching this rip and took me back to memory lane when I was 14 and buying 89 Score packs at the local liquor store. A lot of great players and HOFers in this set! Great rookie class too! I wished I would have bought a full sealed box at Smart and Final to have pulled a Barry Sanders. Was lucky to pull a Troy Aikman and Deion but Barry. 89 Score is a classic set! Thanks for sharing this with us.

It’s worth pointing out to current football collectors that of the most valuable rookie cards from this classic set, only one of them is a QB and that if you had invested in rookie QBs from this draft class, you’d have lost your money. Stop valuing only QBs, it’s ruining collecting football cards.

I think I was at Knott's Berry Farm in Cali, saw a pack of these, bought it just for the heck of it and was off and running. From what I remember, they printed a gazillion of them and the quality wasn't very good and they got overshadowed real quick by all the high quality cards that came out shortly thereafter.
