yeah the market is mad weird for vintage. it's almost never worth it to rip a pack & even less worth it to rip a box - unless you're doing something like rev. then even if you do get a holo it's not usually gonna be worth as much as the pack even if it graded a 10 edit: this isn't entirely true for WOTC sets but def true for most post-WOTC vintage

1:18:00 According to sales the Milotic EX is the priciest card that you can actually pull from the set (there are promos, staff, and a program card that are more valuable but you can't pull those). Most recent sale was $9,000. Next most valuable is Rayquaza Reverse Holo with only 4 known PSA 10 examples and none sold (most recent 9 sale: $474). Then the Deoxys EX whose most recent sale at a 9 was $255 so that Rayquaza Reverse in a 10 must be something you could get $2500 for.

By far the best Pokemon channel in the world!!! I wish I never stopped getting Pokemon after all my collection was stolen in the 90s because I'd have a lot by now but I've started getting back into it and my new collection is growing pretty fast so maybe I'll end up with more or better cards than I had stolen even though 1st edition is pretty hard to beat.
