In regards to your comments about the price of Funko Pops decreasing in value that might be true however the only people that negatively are affected are reseller's and only makes it that much easier for actual collectors to get their desired Pop's. This happens every time something becomes popular and gets a lot of value behind it because reseller's have to feel the need to take advantage of the hot trending money items and affect the market for true collectors.

This is especially the case with gimmicky, niche or fad collectibles. Their day ends one day, quicker than others usually & no matter the economics of the world. I was telling people about 5 years ago when pops were at their height in popularity that the same thing happened with beanie babies. After they were out a year or 2 people went crazy over them. Ty started over producing them, coming out with stupid variations of the same beanie baby. As soon as people got bored with them and found something different to spend their disposable income on beanie babies became worth pennies. I remember picking up a whole plastic tub full of beanie babies for $5 a couple of years ago. Now pops are doing the same thing and everyone said no they won't, pops are totally different than beanie babies. A wise man said those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I got sucked into the beanie baby hype, but smartly stayed out of the funko pop scene.

It’s all to do with supply and demand and fashions. The kids that buy this stuff are growing up and are not so interested plus the market has been flooded with every character and actor possibly living on this planet, thereby devaluing the prestige of the brand. It will keep going down and 15 or 20 years later there will be a spike because people in their 40s will remember their teenage years and want some of the Grails in mint condition. if you really wanna hold onto the Funko pops for 20 years you might make a few hundred dollars big deal.

Collectibles are losing value likely because inflation is pressuring household incomes (wages haven't risen as quickly as prices, so disposable income shrinks, and people spend less on thngs they don't need.). Also he makes decent money off youtube so he has to buy boxes to make videos. He has a good thing going. Look up his channel so you could see how much he makes monthly 2 years ago he had 276000 subs and he was making about 1800 bucks a month pretty sweet. Now he has over 300K so probably making about 2.5k could not find recent numbers. This is not taking into consideration what he earns on what not selling funkos and doing card breaks , his second hand thrift store website and whatever other income he has coming in.
