you mean like the difference between Ford perma and GM perma? yea GM is clearly the easier perma

Depends. Most GM is actually tougher. Majority of ford is easy. New Focus and Fiesta are consider the tough ones.

I suppose you guys have done the 14-16 LED Corolla headlights. What is the process to prying them open ?

How long did you end up baking your headlights for before prying them open? My buddy followed some instructions on how to do it online for his 2015 Tundra, and baked it at 265 degrees for 18 minutes, and ended up melting the bottom black side of his headlights. I'm assuming that baking it for 18 minutes was a little too long. Did you have to bake it on a baking sheet, or having the headlights facing down?

We bake ALL lights at 240F for 20 mins. Always pre heat the oven. No baking sheet required.

When re-sealing the headlight after the retro, is there an easy method to remove the perma seal so that i can use my morimoto retro rubber?

Nothing easy about it. Just got to scrape it out with a flat head or any tool that can assist you. Off the lens you can sometimes peel off small chucks or use a razor blade.
