It because people are more interested in Olympics than Paralympics, very few broadcasters had bought the TV rights. So in almost every countries they will live on KZbin to make more money and let people watch Para games more offen. Almost every single event which is organize by IPC was, is and will be live here

Even in my country, they hv like 3 different broadcasters showing the olympics but not even a single tv station wanted to buy the rights for the paralympic games. Talk about double standards.

@@melzer1377 just for their benefit, after olympic (and Euro 2020 before that) they need time to prepare for new football season (which already started). In fact, not many people watch paralympic, the live streams today just have around 500 - 800 views for each stream (and it live all around the world). If a broadcaster buy the rights I think they won't have any benefit.

As a student volunteer, i had the honor to participate all the process of Beijing 2008 Olympic. I was there for the opening ceremony, and my classmates and I were so moved that we cried together. I was in charge of traffic control at the basketball arena throughout the basketball game and got to meet all the big international players in person. Looking back on it all now, I am so blessed.

For some reason, the Paralympics Opening ceremony has managed to uplift the optimism and festive atmosphere that the Olympics Opening Ceremony had to forgo out of respect of the year’s events affecting the mood. The fact that the games have been a cathartic mood uplifter reflects in the Paralympics Opening Ceremony as the games season went on, in short. Lots of airport nostalgia in there too for those who remember travel before 2020 fell. Inspiring message and a cosy story indeed too, and for all the faith in the world, best wishes on the athletes competing and showing the world the best!

They chose to tell us a story of relatable characters, a metaphor of the Paralympic movement, and they managed to make it emotional and connecting to everyone's hearts to animate the protagonist to move on and fly... The entire story made me cry from the beginning to the end: Seeing the girl wanting to fly like the other planes, still determined even with the struggles, and the moment she finally flies to the skies after everyone encourages her...That final key moment is the message of the Paralympic movement, and it was enough to make me feel emotional and enjoy the ceremony... I loved it!

I honestly like the opening of the Paralympic Games more than the Olympic opening ceremony. I like that they showed more of the Japanese car culture represented by what is meant to be a dekotora truck. That is portrayed as one of the supporters of the 1 wing plane. And it’s a cute little story that the people have performed. Like it is a cute metaphor of the message of we don’t have to let our disabilities limit us from what we dream of doing in our lives as we can do anything if we put our mind into it. Especially if we have supporters and peers encouraging us to do what we want to do as best as possible.

This is beautifully done. I suppose Tokyo 2020 Olympics wanted to stay cautious as it was still during the peak of the pandemic. Now they are more equipped to handle the pandemic during the games. It's so beautiful to see and wish that the Paralympics get more coverage even on national TV. 💖💖💖

So much better than the opening ceremony from 1 month ago, this was the original concept for the Olympic ceremony in February 2020 (the airport) but it was scrapped, I’m glad they used it on the Paralympics

This was much better than the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony. I love how there is a story in this ceremony which makes it even better. The cauldron lighting wasn't the best but I really loved this ceremony.

The cauldron is the same as in the Olympics. That was to resemble the moon/sun above Mount Fuji. The Paralympics version had to make it accessible for the 3 lighters in wheelchairs.
