The quality of Chinese cards is insanely good compared to English, feel much more like actual playing cards. I wish English would have this quality..

I mostly stay with English BUT when certain sets release it’s definitely not a bad idea to grab a few boxes if you have the extra $$$ I picked up a few of the jumbo boxes. They are already up from what I paid.

I'd say it's worth it for a collection but I'm not sure on investment, since it's Chinese and the main market is China the stocks will be soooo over produced hence why I think it wouldn't hold in a investment standpoint, but for a collection? I think it would be really great after seeing one video where the promo items are awesome, I think it would hold for collectors really well.

Yeah they drop some big cards as promo and makes hard to get cards easy to add to the collection A few zards where made into promos

So I don’t think IG will hit the same values as such however it will grow…the market in Japan has potential to be huge with the population size

My question really with these, is if there is anything about Chinese cards that makes them more appealing than Japanese for the collector, rather than the investor. I'm not convinced yet that many people in the international market are buying Chinese cards for their collections, either beyond just one or two hits, the couple of unique cards that exist in those prints, or just an odd novelty. The way the price has been inflated on them, as you say in the video, people might be listing these products for a couple of thousand dollars, but it doesn't mean anyone is buying them at that price. The appeal for the Korean cards for a time with collectors and investors I know was the inexpensive price point on a lot of the boxes, which made it easier to take a punt on them over Japanese cards, but the Chinese cards don't have that benefit from what I've seen, with the prices roughly matching the Japanese prices. So unless investors are banking on scarcity down the line in a growing Chinese market to increase the price, which remains to be seen, I still think Japanese cards are the better investments right now personally.

Appreciate the comment firstly 😊 so I am not saying they beat Japanese cards at all I just think that simplified Chinese could be big in the future like what the comment above says It’s a huge market in china and if they get behind it and if a set has a zard or a big chase like the moonbreon then they will have value…but to clarify I don’t think the value of these will go higher than Japanese as that’s the OG and always will be

@@bleb87they won’t not anytime soon anyway with such a large population you already know many of them have a bunch of these cards already and the Chinese are very rich, so rich I didn’t spend a single dollar when I went there
