I could be over thinking it, my mom was from Brooklyn NY, after living in Vegas for 20+ years her accent wasnt as thick, but talking to anyone from home it'd come right back. Could be to keep the smack talk of like "Oh look your not one of us anymore" at bay. Ive also heard its more of someones brain doing it to fit in. Pretty funny to see with Brian though.

It happens, my mum is a scouser and has lived in the heart of the Yorkshire dales for 35 years, her accents gotten softer as she's gotten older but the second she goes to anfield to see my nan she gets the thickest scouse accent ever. My husband laughs at me when I go down because I've got a Yorkshire accent but after being at my nans for an hour even I have a scouse accent 😂

Don't say that, don't make Nogla feel guilt ridden on Christmas, they both love each other and are great friends it's a miracle they're still friends, a lot of people I've known who found Jesus wouldn't have taken any of those gifts as jokes or would've even ruined the night. These 2 are a true testament of friendship, maybe one day Brian may even come to Jesus who knows, either way, I'll bet they're going to be the only 2 left from the OG group still playing together after a while, and I hope so. I loved both of their gifts and Brian's dark humor.
