Awesome to see someone who knows how to film properly (Johnathan Buckhouse) film you flying down the mountain allowing you to concentrate on your skiing rather than your cameras and filming. Epic footage! I would easily say this was the best flick you made on this trip to Colorado. Great to see the guest appearance by Johnathan Buckhouse and his crew. Loveland is awesome too, I have been their half a dozen times last winter. The Chet's Dream lift is so fast it feels like an elevator going up the Empire State building. You should have 500K subs!

Loveland Valley is the best beginner area in Colorado. Completely separate from the main area. Perfect for developing confidence, multiple lifts so no huge increases in steepness or crowd size, until you want to graduate to the big hill. When everything is open, the trees on the north side of the highway are awesome 😎
@LucasCatania172 жыл бұрын
That’s so cold! I saw there was a whole other area apart from the main spot and that explains it!

Yep- totally agree with this. Took my gf who had only skied once a decade ago there 3 times last season and aside from the really windy day swinging on Chair 6 where it passes just above Chair 2, she had a great time! I honestly feel like that is a free circus ride on a windy day but for people who don't like heights or swaying, creaking, ski lifts... it might not be the best time.

I just have to ask, what's the deal with not using the safety bar on the chair lifts in the us? As a european (I've skiied in sweden, norway, france, austria) I've never seen such an aversion towards that bar. For me, it's nice to have the option to rest ones legs, and the added safety is quite nice too.. So just a question, not trying to stir something up..

As an American if the bar has a footrest I use it, but if it doesn’t I don’t. But while I’m in the mountains I feel like most people do.

Good question! I think it’s really just personal preference. If someone wants to put it down, the bar will go down. Some people may feel more comfortable than others without it!

you mean the footrest? what is that going to do for your safety?

@@justinbayola I would argue the foot rest would help with balance in case the chair was swinging. The actual bar would serve much like a guard rail. The foot rest also have the advantage of letting you resting the feet ofc.
