I ski in eastern Washington, our resort just opened up this last weekend. I get to ski for the first time this Friday and Saturday! It’s been a year and I can ski again

Back in the day, the ski area was only open on the weekends. My friends and I would cross-country ski up the runs then ski down. My favorite place to be!

Weekends only is the reason my buddies and I came to love boarding powder so much. We worked 4 ten hour days, so we had every Fri, Sat and Sun to ride. It wasn’t uncommon to leave Baker Sunday afternoon only to come back the following Friday with 4 to 5 feet more snow, since it wasn’t open during the week Friday was always DEEP.

So fun! What a beautiful day! I’ve been wanting to go snowboarding recently and just checked the price for a day lift ticket at my ski resort in eastern Washington $139 before tax 🤯 no business being that price one of the most expensive in the state!

$100 for a lift ticket will discourage many Canadians from coming to Baker this year. That would be $140 Canadian. Sheesh. Enjoy the slopes!

The covid years Baker did not have reservations required. This brought a large amount of skiers and snowboarders but now come here regularly. KZbinrs showing how Great Baker is and Washington's high minimum wage pasco's the prices at Baker to skyrocket in the crowds to be really really thick
