I lived at Sundance for 10 years, at 6k' it's pretty low so it doesn't get the snow like the Cottonwoods do at 8k', but the back mountain on a powder day is a good time.

I have to agree with you. Powder seems to blow off the ridges and drifts into Bishop’s and Far East adding to what naturally falls into them. Sundance has the best Senior prices for any UT resort btw!

I would just say the right tool for the job.. When there are a ton of people on the hill I want skis that have shorter turn radius.. It is different from when I can plan my turns compared to when I have to instantly turn..

@@LucasCatania17 Hey man, your filming is unique and good, being a pro photographer myself. Sundance is my home resort. I live 30 min from it. When the clouds are not low you can see Mt Timpanogos, it’s one of the best views in UT. The back mountain is the place to ski at smallish Sundance and it appears it wasn’t open. When pow is fresh Bishop’s Bowl and Far East are some of my favorite runs in UT! 🤟🏻🎿

I love your content and have been following you for a couple years. My intention is to not sound negative but I really enjoy the 360 mounted above your face vs your actual pov. On top of helmet is a wider field of vision and has the ability to show a lot more of the boots and skis/feet work which is really cool. Last years pov > this years pov. Food for thought. It’s the catch 22 of the whole system. Maybe you find efficiency and purpose in both set ups. Did you use the extension clips last year that you’re using to drop it in front of your face? If not maybe it’ll provide a new experience without the helmet interrupting now. Either way. Keep grinding. Always stoked to see the channels growing success and recognition you deserve.

It's one thing that bothered me when I was teaching, so much emphasis on technically correct skiing. How about we tap into our artistic side and flow with nature?
