Memorable game for me. My friend of 60 years and lifelong Leeds fan lost his battle with cancer 3 months ago. We live on the Isle of Wight and I'm a Pompey fan. Thanks to Leeds for putting his name on the board at the game. Loved the game I didn't care who won and a draw was perfect. RIP Frank Wharton 💙🤍

I rather think on that last miss by Aranson (?) the commentary team did not give the goal keeper his due. Using the old tactics, the keeper came out as fast as he could which narrowed the angle for Aranson to shoot at while cutting down the time he had to pick his mark.

My, so many Oxford supporters in the stands: Seems the future's yellow! Can't think why people prefer the new away kit! Well, last season's poor start was easily blamed on the relegation loan-out clauses. What if this August goes the same way? I saw it all on stream, and 'twas very 'deja vu' - masses of individual flair, but no honing, discipline or organisation. Just imagine the result if we'd achieved promotion and played like that in the first game! It was an absolute thriller, and no disgrace in the end. I'm glad we weren't promoted (except for losing Archie), because I prefer ding-dong epics like that to weekly dreary humiliations. This, sadly, is Farke's pinnacle! I don't see Aaronson as having thrown away two points, but salvaging a draw. He's not a recognised goal-scorer; too much squandering from the specialists. Maybe we should take a leaf out of the book of a certain team whose name I won't mention who've just employed a Dutchman to show the strikers how to capitalise on chances, and take on a Beckford, Becchio, Viduka or Yeboah to show them how not to be a Jack Harrison woodwork specialist!
