I never had good luck opening tins but i still loved it for the random box style nature of it and you always got a dope secret rare if all else failed. I think the original tins were the first to guarantee a foil of any kind not to mention the first reprint of Jinzo so even from day one they were difficult to find. As an OG player it blew my mind when i heard some sets now guarantee a super rare in every pack not to mention super packs with multiple foils 🤯

I'd argue you got the tins for the cover card. I've had good luck in some of the older tins. In a Stardust Dragon tin I got, I pulled an ultimate rare Solar Recharge which I found pretty insane. Even if it was an Unlimited edition. I got a secret rare in another tin but it was kind of a dud one.

I love these tins that are for specific monsters. These might not be as classic as the OG's but they're still awesome. Raviel is my favorite. He was the first one I ever pulled. I remember pulling it out of a Duelist Saga pack back in 2017. I loved it with those holos that were in Duelist Saga.

I would have to say Raviel is my favorite. It reminds me of Obelisk, which is special to me. I got an Obelisk for Christmas when it was brand new. Then I got a Raviel when that came out for another holiday. They are special. Hamon is the best and most competitively useful sacred beast. Cerulean skyfire can negate droplet, super poly and even solemn judgement. Playing Hamon deck in TCG and Master duel its also my first ever pulled card way back in 2006 or so.
