Hopefully they will re release the FTD vinyls. No I don’t agree that if you snooze you lose. FTD is a niche label that a lot of Elvis fans did not know about at the very beginning. Those fans should be able to get those albums as well without paying the ridiculous prices on eBay. I don’t collect them myself but I hope fans that want the earlier releases can have access to them.

Good points. FTD is in the business of selling CDs and vinyl records containing rare outttaks, masters and concert performances. I don’t believe it was created to replace a 401k plan or to make people large profits in the secondary market. I think the limited number vinyl records pressed had more to do with the perceived demand at the time, not to create an item that will be sold for high prices in the secondary market. Thankfully in 1973 when the first run of Aloha From Hawaii sold out RCA continued to press copies. They understood that they (meaning Elvis, the musicians , songwriters ect) should be the ones enjoying the profits with the buyer enjoying the product.
