You have so much acreage you could create 10-20 camp spots and put them on Hipcamp. You could make $15-30 dollars a night off each site. It is a good way to keep some cash flowing in until the whole ranch is up and running.

As someone who’s worked in hotels before. A table is helpful for folding big sheets like king but they also make a laundry arm which is sooo helpful!

Using a commercial laundry service is a very wise choice. They are a LONG way from an in-house laundry, if ever. Cost-benefit thing. If they decide to do it onsite, consider outsourcing the operation to that commercial laundry if they are happy with them.

Matt in love shack instead of an extension cord for the vacuum get a switch/receptacle for $8 and a new cover for .99¢ and replace the switch in the closet. No need for a cord that couple potentially be a hard and it will took a lot better. I’d also bundle up the excess charging cord with a zip tie.

At Disney there are things called "Hidden Mickeys". Matt should create an item with the Demoranch logo on it and make a few hundred. Place a few in every Air BnB, and then 1 or 2 at every point of interest all over the acreage. Also there are companies that will put your logo on anything. Get your logo on Andes Candies chocolate mints and place a few on the pillows.

The box shelves. How about use them as framing for pictures of different points of interests around the resort - and one with a map with the spots marked on it. Of course, you may just have the river and the range and maybe the side snake cave so far, but it will grow in time. In fact, all your houses shOuld have at least at binder with this kind of information (and how to book a range experience etc)

You need a coffee bar!! ☕🍩 You can put it on the other side of the door going into the bedroom. You could get a cart type coffee bar with a drawer for the silverware and just put the trash can in that one open spot underneaththe counter. Books, games, puzzles and fake plants for the shelves 😊

With the curtains in the love shack. Curtains either look best when they are from the pole to the floor or to the window ceil. In this case, as a person who makes and installs curtains, think they would look best going to the window ceil so curtains will need to be shortened by a few cm.

My house is dark grey, if I turned off the AC it would get warm. Same as back when it was light tan. I do have white metal roof that does help.

@@j.walker3498 A house is much different than a car/truck/suv, you are much further away from your roof in a house than in a car with much more insulation in a house. The dark colored vehicle will absorb and radiate that heat on you when you get near it. An article from a local news station in Phoenix did a study that said "The white SUV was 124 degrees, while the dark gray SUV topped out at 170 degrees." Black would make it even hotter.

I love the storage room. Labels on the shelves are very helpful. The folding table is a must have. When I used to work at a motel we had this industrial strength laundry soap that would kill germs and remove stains much better than anything I used at home.

I really enjoy following your adventures. My daughter and son-in-law have Airbnb's in Boone, NC. I've helped them on theirs some. Maybe you put an ottoman with storage and not a coffee table so it can be put in the corner when the sofa bed is being used. Maybe games, books of the area as well as themed Knick knacks in the random shelves. Definitely a set of drawers for the silverware, maybe a few necessary cooking trays or utensils for the MW and oven. Just a few thoughts. Thanks for the entertainment.

With the hanging sweeper in the love shack you can just get an old work box, put it below the light switch. Pull off the hot wire before the switch then bring that to the old workbox. Put a recep and coverplate. you'll have your outlet for the sweeper charger plug... Probably can just find on youtube how to really do it. It's very easy to do.

Another option you have that concerns the vacuum cord would be to replace the light switch that I noticed right above the vacuum mount. As you probably know, They make light switches with integrated sockets. That would eliminate an extension cord all together. Merry Christmas, Matt.

Hey Matt, you should use Wi-Fi mesh systems for distributed Wi-Fi instead of repeaters. The reason for this is that repeaters have a single radio inside so first they receive and record a chunk of data to its internal memory, then the radio switches to transmitting and the data gets sent on to its Wi-Fi clients. This means that the data speeds for the repeater Wi-Fi clients are at 50% of the original speed of the host Wi-Fi that the repeater is connected to. Wi-Fi mesh systems are designed to solve this problem by having two radios on board each node so that they can receive and send simultaneously & instantaneously, which preserves the incoming data speed.

Matt, instead of using swing doors to the love shack bedroom, use sliding barn doors for both the closet and room door. This way you can have a bigger bed that will not encroach into the door swing. My 2 cents, and I think it would work better for the theme of all the residences in your restorations.

As for folding sheets solo they make special folding tables I'm sure you have something similar fpr folding shirts in bulk for shipping you just flip panels after laying the sheet on the table and it folds it over for you all at once but you'd probably need a bigger room unless the camera makes stuff that much smaller

Cute rental. Just one suggestion. Since it can sleep 4, it needs more towel racks. Maybe get one that has 3 or 4 swing out rods that can be used as needed. I know it sounds like a small thing, but having no place to let your bath towel dry can be a pain.
