If you want to crochet something really special for Christmas, I can recommend the Sirdar Gingerbread Town CAL on their website. The pattern is free, it’s mostly all simple single crochet and I’ve just made it for my daughter’s classroom. She’s a teacher and says everyone is obsessed with it! Sirdar also have a similar tree advent calendar CAL free pattern on their website I’m starting next to keep me out of trouble.
