The Coastal Road is open to traffic as of November 10, 2017. Inaugurated by Sec. Mark Vilar along with City / Provincial Government Officials.

Year 2017 nagkaroon pa ng clearing sa mga bahay na tatamaan ng kalsada (Road Right of Way) at Php 4B ang budget dyan. After 20 yrs saka sinimulan at tinapos. Credit grabber ba yung current admin ang naglaan ng ganyang budget? Yung project credited kay Ramos pero yung ginastos kay Duterte? Magbasa ka para may idea ka sa kung ano nangyayari sa paligid mo.

Agreed! It looks great, but they should add planters in the middle, and left and right shoulder allowing like a promenade with natural shades from trees or plants for people to walk and enjoy strolling/walking.

Meron po ongoing, Php 1.2B ang budget at groundbreaking po Oct 10, 2017 sa Buyog island isa sa dinaanan,,paki-check po dito sa vlogger na to, mayroon siyang video

This coastal road just opened less than 2 weeks ago, kaya hindi pa yan tapos, marami pang kailangan gawin dyan, kaya wala pang lights atbp.. mao naa pay squatters... kay ayha pa gud na open ang dalan..

What do they use to prevent erosion between the road structure and the sea water that keeps pounding it? Are they just ordinary rocks or stones? Don't they use engineered concrete blocks like tetrahedral concrete blocks that you see in most reclaimed structures around the world like those in SRP in Cebu?

The only disadvantage of this design is that they block the water ways. They should put ample of water ways, not just under the bridge. In my observation , every one hundred meters has a water exit path to avoid stagnant. These is why in just minor rain fall the city will be flooded instantly .
