I love penal letters. I just find the aesthetic part very hard to do… I always feel like I’m not giving enough or the right stuff. Especially I’m a person who’s more about the letter than actual goodies themselves.. you know?

i totally agree! i love the cuteness + aestheticness a lot, and i love how so many people are putting in so much effort into these letters. however, i kind of do miss the old-school way, where we would just write in the letter plain and wouldn't have to worry about prices, expenses etc. :)

I'm that person that nearly cries when I have to rip apart one sticker that is stuck onto a paper..I would be so sad to see the nice envelopes and not use the stuff that is sticking on top of them😂

Watching pen pals with me videos really helps me to see the difference types of styles to create a letter. It gives me hope then I’ll find my own pen pals too. Right now, I’m enjoying all this pen pal content. Never knew about this part of KZbin, a very welcoming and calming community of strangers who want to share their thoughts with each other (lots of stickers add*cts) Better than texting 💬

Penpal with me videos and opening penpal letter videos really improved me and my lettering! I found different ways to write certain letters and different styles etc. Watching videos like these help me so thank you! My letters improved hugely after watching videos like these, you can get inspiration from anything, my penpal letters always have something different added depending on who i’m replying to since I get lots of inspo from my penpals too!

@@shafiahnoor7821 stationary isn't the only point though. Its more about sending a letter to catch up on life. It doesn't always have to be as pretty and decorative or filled with small gifts and extras. A pen pal is a person or multiple people that you send letters to, but some decide to add stationary and decorate it nicely

I wish I knew how to send envelopes that are decorated! But I never know whether it is allowed or if the letter would have to be inside another envelope so that it can shipped normally. Would love to try decorating the outside☺️

Is this really authorized to send fully decorated envelopes ? The postman will really accept ? I'm scared because i don't think i can do that in France and i don't see anywhere to check the information. So if a French person that does penpal can answer me i'll be happy :)

Idk if my answer will be useful anymore but there is no problem with decorated envelopes in France . But be careful if you do because sometimes they aren't very gentle with it so be sure to stick them well so they can survive the trip. :)

Gonna be honest, no jab at anyone here, but the crazy amount of things kinda makes the whole sending a letter thing a little too overwhelming, because the focus isn't the letter anymore. Maybe it's stationary trade, so I get why you guys do it like that, but this video just convinced me to make my letters look like me, not the general aesthetic every penpal page has.
