Sort of agree to some extent just kind of funko overproducing stock of franchises that aren’t very popular anymore or just making pops of shows that just don’t have much of a fanbase or is old like some random movies they do. Not to say they aren’t popular because they still sell out frequently and not to mention how much money they make on one piece pops 🤷‍♂️

Been selling my pops, Lego and all sort of collectibles. I can see the market dropping on all sort of things. Sell up and move on, as I can see a massive crash and don’t want to be stuck with a load of plastic 😂

Agree to disagree, I dont think its the Funko market thats going down its buyers market in general. Prices kept going up and there arent a lot of people who are willing to buy collectibles when they are struggling with rent and groceries. Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Target and Amazon recently lowered prices to try to get customers to buy more.

That has nothing to do with funko. Funko hasn't taken a hit. The collectors market is what took a hit. Do you think funko cares if flippers are making any money or not. It just means collectors can get grails at a fair price and not inflated flipper prices.

I know when we were younger we had bobble heads and they just died right out. It looks like the same things happen to Funko pops. I think I would stop spending money on them and try something out and that’s just me though.

It’s not just that. Overproduction, lack of exclusivity, and frankly just many bad choices from funko as a company are causing prices to fall. Covid was 4 years ago now and I think things are starting to normalize from that. This is far beyond normalizing and the writing is on the walls that this is no longer a desired thing amongst most collectors. How many different Deadpool pops can one person have before all of these things are redundant and no longer a fun thing anymore? Their stock as a company is going to the ground. This is a sinking ship.

The funko market isn't going anywhere. They still sell out of the funko exclusives as soon as they go live. The economy out of control and flippers out of control is the problem.

@@TheManOnDaCouch That is good, luckily I think there will always be auto collectors and those will hold value better than others. Older ones are better for holding value now. Newer ones including chases and stuff aren’t going to worth much in the future though (at least I don’t think so anyway)
