I found a bunch of these on ebay and couldnt help but buy some. They have been comin in one box at a time, I also noticed that they dont come in any seal on them just a piece of tape if any and some with no closure on the box, its just open. I though I was getting scammed but its good to see you got some cool pulls out of it. If anyone wants to see my pulls ill probably post a vid on them later.

Your hitting the nostalgia hard with the background music from Duelist of the Roses. It’s very interesting how useless LOB set is compared to the two starter decks with Yugi and Kaiba! You get most of the rare cards from the set as commons. Obviously there are cards in the set that you couldn’t get like Exodia but it’s still nostalgic to see these cards especially for their designs. When you play a lot of the original Yu-Gi-Oh games for PlayStation 1 and 2 and Gameboy you appreciate those cards when your grinding for much better cards

LordOfBlades I opened 6 boxes and in total I got a complete set of LOB less the left leg, right arm of exodia, gaia the fierce knight and gaia the dragon champion. First box pulled blue eyes and exodia head and secret tri-horned. Second pulled red eyes and piece of exodia. Third pulled dark magician and piece of exodia. 4th second copy of exodia head and monster reborn.

did you miss a rare ?? if i remember correct the ratio is 16-4 and 18-2 meaning 16 with nothing and 4 with a super and 18 with a rare and 2 with ultra/secret rare.

@Suley, I know your comment is a while back but personally the big 3 sets (LOB, MFC, SRL) Korean versions have done well for me in terms of return. I focus more on LOB, have opened 800-1000 boxes of LOB alone. I get the top hits graded (that are 10 worthy. With PSA high charges I have over 400 Korean cards to send in once it becomes more affordable) then build sets with all the others and sell those. I think a lot of people don't buy them because they are afraid of them maybe being fake or tampered with which leads them to just buy individual cards off eBay because of the affordability of them or being able to just buy the master in one go. I would highly recommend getting bulk amount of boxes and building master sets if you have the money to take a chance with it.

These were reprinted in mass back in 2011, hence the lack of shrinkwrap. Though even in 2002-2004, they didn't have them either ahaha. They changed the pack structure on the reprints just like the US did though!

it's not sealed. Korean boxes are NEVER sealed, but this will change with new sets. And btw you can't scale this box, because you are guaranteed 4 super and 2 ultra rares with every box. They are cheap because it's OCG and japanese people don't buy korean cards really. So they will only sell in Korea, but yugioh isn't that popural there. Plus this is a reprint set.

“This is a really bad set” lol it’s the first set of yugioh what do you expect?.... still had dark hole, raigeki, Exodia, blue eyes, man eater bug, swords of revealing light, monster reborn, and pot of greed. When you speak about the decent spells and traps you only talked about the cards you’ve pulled so far, meaning you don’t really know the set. Also magic ruler was the third set. Fusion summoning was not easy back then. You had to have polymerization and both cards and special summoning wasn’t really a thing. Today we have instant fusion, what are you talking about? Man eater bug doesn’t negate an ability, it destroys a face up monster on the field.

Korean boxes are OCG, you can't play them in the TCG. Japanese people don't really buy korean cards, so they will only sell in Korea. Yugioh isn't that popular in Korea. And ofc this is a reprint set and not first edition.
