Massive thanks Lachlan, I've been struggling with breaking the guard standing without being swept, this is gonna help immeasurably!

love your stuff! Very coherent style of teaching with lots of crucial details and good didactics. You´re a way better teacher than most high level blackbelts, which just throw random techniques at students. I bought your half-guard series last friday and I´m looking forward to study it :)

3:53 what is this move called i’m looking for the other version why you take your right hand and undertook it to his leg and then your other arm is holding his left foot to sweep him backwards like that

I guess is similar with the gi on right ? I get swept sometimes like the second way you show so I´ll try that sissy squat.

Today i roll with a guy much bigger than me and it was impossible for me to break his legs guard around me when i was standing up, he was too strong and i could not do anything then got sweeped. Any tips?

Try stepping backwards as you're pushing one of his legs down
