Here is the thing Beaver You should buy LOADS of those expensive decorations (which is not a problem when you buy them with bunch of coins) Then, you put ALL those right back in (don’t need to take the XP) The trade harbor will EVENTUALLY pop up those “juicy” trades for you, completely random. And sometimes you might need to refresh the harbor for like 2-3 times and earn back like 1k bucks

One way to conserve bucks and DNA is see the cost ratio, see how much DNA is the equivalent to bucks, food and coin and see if the trade off is worth it? Just a thought Beaver, also, solid episode, keep up the great content. Ludia needs to do something about the Bucks in this game, the trade off to battle for them isn't worth it even if you spend money.
