Thanks to this video (I rewatched it in places), I was able to make it without screwing it up again! It is so good to see you creating in your sewing room once again! I hope you aren't pushing yourself too fast. However I can appreciate the urge to be back doing machine sewing rather then hand sewing :) The little pouch is cute and certainly practical. The "window" is AMAZING! I love what can be done with a fabric panel -- this is a beautiful make and something that anyone would be proud to have hanging in their home. Enjoy!

Ya it said to zigzag stitch. But I didn't wanna break out another machine for that since it was my first sew back since surgery. So I just french seamed it 😄 I hope you have fun sewing up the panel today 😊

I couldn't sit at the machine. The chair aggravates my hip. So I stood to sew. But I really needed some sew time. Now to start standing at least a hour at a time to longarm quilt. I'm almost there.

I know this post is about 2 months old, but Joan Ford of Hummingbird Highway has some beautiful laser cut kits, many of them with a bird theme, I made her beautiful Snowy Owl kit up for my son about a year ago. I have issues with cutting sometimes because of the tendons in my hands and I have been using my brother Scan 'n' cut for cutting some of my shapes, it was an investment, but I also use it for card making and some of my other crafts as well.
