How Hornby can charge the prices they do I do not know. There are obviously many factors involved but I can just see them pricing themselves out of the market and driving themselves into the ground.

Bruh the class 166 (sorry if it’s wrong I can’t see well) in the intro is the model train I want most in the world. Screw the 142 pacer or class 981 I’ve always wanted a 166 in first livery like that one. Good choice bro

I’ve had the 166 for a long time. Definitely worth the investment. Mine is also sound fitted. Just need to upgrade the lighting st some point. Hope you manage to find one soon mate. You won’t be disappointed 👍

HI there can i ask if you have ever had any problems with your Class 800's starting up moving and then stopping multiple times then creating a short circuit. i am in the throws of returning my 800back to hornby for the second time now with the same motor fault. yet all my other hornby and bachmann locos all work perfectly fine.

Becouse of the prices I solo off my OO gauge and went with N gauge.

Good plan, your cheapest manufacturers for 00 gauge locomotives these days are Dapol & Accurascale
