Before the mega smash sensation that is the Rankin Bass version, there was this version of our famous reindeer pal that was created by the late Max Fleischer back in 1948. Many years later in 1993, we got it on VHS, which is what you are seeing right now

2. Max Fleischer's Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer intro.
3. First few seconds of the program.

A pretty good opening to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the good times entertainment, 93 release. Interestingly enough, good times entertainment would make their own version of the famous reindeer himself in 1998, featuring Kathleen Barr, Whoopi Goldberg, Gary chalk, Debbie Reynolds, Bob Newhart, Eric Idle, Richard Simmons and John Goodman. It was released in theaters, and it had bombed at the box office.

Ah yes! The “98 Rudolph movie! Need to see it one day
