Another good little tip on them, abit of hair spray on the reader key before the impression give a clearer reading

I’ve just done a video on the 114E pal, use the Staddon/Turner pick, the best around 👍🏻
@Ariel-rv4vs3 жыл бұрын
Sound advice re the reading key. I struggled yesterday with the staddon pick on a 114E after trying everything the only thing that helped was a few different reads Great video 👍

Hi mate, would be good to hear your advice on whether to pursue a job as a locksmith?? Coming from a joiner who watching dozens of vids, and thinking, maybe me one day 🤔🤔🤔.
@FortressLocksmiths3 жыл бұрын
I can’t really give advice on whether you should do it pal, but if you’re already a joiner by trade then that’s a good start ....but an interest in how things work, problem solving and logical thinking is a must
@keithfagan92503 жыл бұрын
@@FortressLocksmiths yeah cheers pal, that sounds like me allover 😀😀😀 I been doing joinery for around 20 years, and don't wanna be grafting in shit for a day rate all my life!! I seem to relate to your vids, cos you say it as it is, and are localish to me (Preston) and I do understand what your saying, even though I have not yet done.
@FortressLocksmiths3 жыл бұрын
@@keithfagan9250 I hear what you are saying , best thing about this job is you can pick and choose when you want to work, although if you want to make good money you do need to go to those 2:00am call outs ‘cha’ 😎🤣 but in all seriousness you do need to invest in a lot of tools and training, you don’t want to be one of these idiots that legit just turns up to jobs with a handful of locks and drill 🙄
@keithfagan92503 жыл бұрын
@@FortressLocksmiths ha ha, yeah I not too kean on the call outs, but understand about the cash, but im a long way off that tho mate! Understand decent tools cost good money, so got loads of questions, but would u recommend learning old school ways, spp? Or learn to use the new, (easier) tools if u can afford em?? Cheers Keith
@FortressLocksmiths3 жыл бұрын
@@keithfagan9250 if you can you should learn both cause it’s always good to have a few different methods in the locker, but the more tools you have the more likely you’ll be to open locks non destructive
