FYI free comic book day books are not free to the stores..they do pay "some" money for them. i think it is like 25-35 cent a book..not a lot but it adds up.

I disagree with you a bit, Clint. I collect for enjoyment. If I want to invest I'll use the stock market. There is nothing wrong with "investing" in collectibles, but not everyone does.

I also invest in the stock market but I like to have my money invested in multiple things- stock, gold, silver, real estate, collectibles and so on

Yes but they keep they have more value and don't get damaged. People also buy them if they want to read them because you can open them up but making the grade worthless, but at least then they know what they are getting is original.
