I’m so thankful that he specifically tells his patients that he is NOT giving them a label but that he needs to enter some label into the DSM for his job. Labels are NOT helpful because people then think they depend on a pill to get fixed instead of addressing the real life concerns and situations. ❤

It's good he explains the DSM labeling to patients - to secure financialization. "Denouncement" by Thomas Szasz

But that label can be used by other professionals against those people. I mean it's kind of dishonest in a way. Because systemically and on documentation that could be used legally, he is labeling people. It doesn't matter how much he washes it. SMH

If someone is demoralized or distracted - don't mute his emotion and cognition. Instead, improve on 2 or 3 of his lifestyle problems - then have him sing in chorus!

Thank you for the interview. I find it hugely helpful if MIA could put the contacts for the folks they are interviewing into the show notes so that we can just click on the link, rather than re listen to find where the contacts are given out.

I wonder how many psychiatrists or any other professions in the mental health sector truly feel like they are harming their patients and feel that intense cognitive dissonance. Even if they feel guilty of the harm done to their patients, do they have the courage to take the first step to do things differently, and then persevere through it despite mainstream opposition?

My statement to the mental health world as a CogSci major: Peer reviewed Science proves that psych meds are more deadly, LITERALLY, than fentanyl, heroin and cocaine combined. Shrinks knew this all the while. It's fact that GDMFPOS Phizer wrote the DSM-5. The replication crisis is a disgusting crime that should be met with prison and executions. When SCIENTISTS study psych it turns out that it is most useless; that we all return to baseline when the fleecing is done. Shrinks are epistemologically corrupt GARBAGE; the self reporting of neurotics can NEVER be SCIENCE!!! IT HAS BEEN PROVEN BY PEER REVIEWED SCIENCE, OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER THAT OVERARCHING ECONOMIC, SOCIOLOGICAL AND GENETIC CONDITIONS DETERMINE ALMOST ALL SUCCESS/HAPPINESS. HOW DO THESE VILE CHARLATANS SLEEP AT NIGHT???? THESE FACTS MAKE A DGMFPOS SHRINK A DRUG SLINGING, LIE SELLING, SOLUTION IN SEARCH OF A PROBLEM. YOU ARE SELLING OBVIOUS GARBAGE. SHRINKS ARE nothing but CAPITHELLISMS HELLISH SALEABLE READILY REPRODUCIBLE REPLACEMENT FOR FAMILY, COMMUNITY AND CHURCH. (The vile superstition had to go, but Nietzsche was correct to call it a loss of meaning.) You are snake oil salesmen, scum and careerist frauds.

Interesting interview. This kind of approach or turn (hermeneutical-phenomenology) has been deeply developed by Dr. Giampiero Arciero. (highly recommended).
