OpenSCAD - Quick Tip - Live Render Using Animation

In this video I describe how I use the Animation feature of OpenSCAD to get a "Live" render of what I am working on. If you already know how to use animation you can probably just go ahead and get going.

P.S. You can even use values less than 1 for your frame rate ie (.5) to only get updates every other second.

It shows animation but fails to explain how to achieve it

Essentially, there is a time parameter openScad allows you to use in the code as well as manipulate from the outside how that parameter behaves - can be a counter that rotates or oscillates or steps over. The different values generate different models (frames). Very cumbersome for anything artistic, but nice for analytic things that CAN be described in a couple lines of code.

I have created some nice models and I want to animate it. In the sense that, I need to record the model from every angle. Is that possible? I clicked on the Animate button but nothing happens.

I cant remember either, but its in the openscad online documentation, When I relearn how to do it Ill be able to help ppl again.
