Is it possible to get JPEG output? Would like to use this for an application that only supports JPEG.

These Small cameras do not really support JPEG output. There a very very few cameras do support but they need a little bit more cpu power.

Hi, have you tried connecting the OV5640 with the PIC32 to get the jpeg formatted still image (not interested in video), any recommendations. I am stack with my project. Thanks.

If you are talking about PCB Gerber file. Then .TXT file is drill file. All the source file are available in the github repo.
