One of the best reviews online, u demonstrate the issue where fps indicator says 60 yet there still are minor stutters which is frame time issue aka 0.1% low frame on PC, that’s some professional review. People saying oh I don’t see drops on reviews, or I don’t feel stutters or drops during gameplay, that’s big F lie, frame time drops is there, and it’s very often. Thank u for this video. I keep saying it. Sony should have invested in framegen. I can run this game on a 4080 on ultra (with ultra RT) with framegen on 80/90 fps. They could have ultra settings on 1440P native (4k dynamic) on 60 fps if the PS5 Pro had framegen. 30 FPs should really be put to a stop, 60 fps should be a minimum.

Texture quality and resolution look so much better on performance pro compared to the base performance mode as expected but the real comparison test we need is Base console fidelity/quality mode vs performance pro since that should show the supposed no compromise fidelity graphics at performance framerates the PRO is advertised to achieve. I'm not convinced as the pro fidelity mode ive been using is outrageously good looking at 30fps in comparison to any base modes or the performance pro mode. Other than a res bump which is great im not sure what the improvements are in quality vs quality pro.

Finally a w for the pro, the veilguard devs are good at optimising. Sure you might hate biowares their politics but they have done some good optimisation better that sonys in house studios like insomniclac and spiderman. Couldn't even tell the difference on that one. And there is a decent reason to get it. I was thinking that the performance upgrade would be minor but still going from 1080p to 1440p and 720p to 980p is still an improvement.

Just curious but do you have a really good 4k tv? I think on a 4k oled is where the Pro is going to shine the most. I agree that Sony should've been adding more than just PSSR in their games, however, you're not seeing the difference in Sony games? I'm seeing the biggest improvement in the Pro modes on those games - pssr is a game changer it really is. Brings out so many more details from the incredible clarity. Try Forbidden West, Last of Us 1 and 2, Spiderman 2 (though this was super buggy after the patch), Ratchet, even Gow Ragnarok the image quality is insane on Pro. If you're looking for a game that does more than just adding PSSR i recommend Jedi Survivor in 30 fps mode ...it looks next gen on the Pro but only if you don't mind playing at 30. They added higher quality reflections and Ray traced shadows and it's a massive improvement over base PS5.

Alors personnellement j'ai pu avoir la version Xbox série x et comparer avec la version ps5 pro que j'ai acheté et vraiment la différence est énorme la Xbox que se soit en perf ou en qualité et carrément on dirait un autre jeu sur ps5 pro je l'ai mit en performance sur pro et le jeu est magnifique alors que sur la Xbox série x on dirait un jeu old gen franchement le jeu est énormément meilleur sur la pro . It's definitely better but still price/performance ratio doesn't satisfy my needs enough hence I'd prefer to invest that budget to a good TV instead. If you don't have a high end TV PS5 Pro ain't no necessary. Maybe after few couple of enhancement updates but it's still quite expensive. So the game can't even run 1080p 60fps in a console with more than 10TFlops. I pain for the humanity if these kind of games continue being released, optimisation is obviously lacking and probably shitty new gen tools that overhead the engine or other stuff that shouldn't be there, but it is BECAUSE YES. A console like PS5 or Xbox Series X would have to be totally enough to play every single game 1080p 60fps, adjusting the detail level to something that still is in the high side.

Watching on my s23 ultra which isnt ideal as its obviously not 4k but its a bit over 1440p oled i can clearly see the difference even through yt compression but i do game at 4k ultra so im use to pixel peeping xD

On mobile, you can pinch and zoom up to 8x in the YT app now. 1440p vs. 4K really doesn't add too much in the way of quality - from additional bitrate - or in raw resolution, even with 8x magnification on fine text, it's difficult to notice much of an improvement. If you enable Android accessibility you can zoom in 8x as well, but using that kind of magnification will not improve video resolution even on a 4K image or video since it just magnifies the composited image output by the device. Since 2160p is 1.5x higher resolution, you only need to zoom that much to match native resolution on a modern QHD phone screen.
