I've been trying to create inbetweens but so far after drawing my key frames, when i go to create the inbetweens i get a bunch of randomness. I think I'm missing something when it comes to the control point editor tool, or even the grouping part. I don't know. can anybody help?

@6:57 I pressed the command button instead cause the control key didn't didn't work for me

You're using a mac, yes? On macs the equivalent of the windows ctrl (control) key is cmd (command) - I think the control button on a mac is alt for windows.

I have a problem using vectors. Whenever I try to fill in a shape it won't work, even when I followed each step exactly as told in the video (just another character design) I made one piece for the body, one for the head and so on, I have made some research and I cannot find anything to solve this, do you know what to do in this situation?

I couldn't keep up with what was going on. The mouse was going all over the place and I didn't know what the person was clicking on. I'm very new at this. Does anybody know if there's a written list to tell me what each icon does? I can't keep watching hundreds of videos every time I forget what an icon is for. Thanks.

I´m really like your video, awesome work! It helped a lot. Did you draw the key picture of your animation in toonz, or did you scan it in with a scanner?
@PhilRayArt8 жыл бұрын
Hey Maki, I actually did those sketches in Manga Studio. I then chose "Load Level" from the File menu and selected the image file to import it into OpenToonz

can you do this for scanned images as well?
@lethargy40987 жыл бұрын
Yes but you will have to vectorise the image. So you'll use your scanned image as a reference and sorta trace over it in a vector level like in the tutorial (or as a series of levels if you want to establish a hierarchy). That's how I'd do it but I think Toonz should let you import an image as a vector map - in which case you'll just have to group the vectors (like at 11:00 ).
