OpenTTD - Challenge - 100K City

As promised an OpenTTD challenge between OpenTTD series! In this challenge I see if I can get a town to 100,000 inhabitants. I still play the game as usual so no cheating using the editor!
OpenTTD is an open source simulation game based upon the popular Microprose game "Transport Tycoon Deluxe", written by Chris Sawyer. It attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features.

The growing rule is something like either drop or collect any type of good (including passenger) once each in 5 different stations every month (or was it three month?). So, all you need is 5 bus stops with a bunch of buses zooming around. Then building your own roads in a spiral layout will encourage the city to place a building instead of a road. A better challenge is the city builder script, that requires specific goods upon an increasing demand to be delivered to the city every month, but I do like the rather "real life" layout you did :)

Yeah, I tried to make it more "real life" as who wants to see 5 buses whizzing around at high speed with me desperately trying to fill the time...

it was enough to support the city in building roads. However, I really liked the realistic approach to the topic. cool movie ;)

Thanks. Yeah, I wanted to try and keep it more realistic and interesting. Felt better that way than just waiting and assisting the expansion with road building!

Now i play open ttd on android phone ... placing the signals is so difficult when the finger touch the wrong grid 😂
