I keep thinking about Lyney' show since the music engrained itself as part of it in my head. The way he only meant the best and how the Fatui is working WITH the archon here. They're not doing anything wrong, but the word "Fatui" alone is enough to put a stain on his reputation and have people turns against him. Somehow I feel the music reflects this in some way. It's never happy or sad entirely, it feels uncertain all the way through, it's growing slightly and changing, all with the same undertone. But yet it always has a tone of grand melancholny, no matter how much it grows. Just like the House of Hearth's children's pasts.

This piece of music sounds a bit like the theme song for ''Tous sur Orbite'', a French documentary series from the late 90s which was about space. And from 0:58 to 1:17, this calm and so melancholic passage makes me think of Maurice Jarre's "Thème romantique" (Romantic Theme), which comes from the 60s French horror movie "Les Yeux sans Visage" (Eyes without a Face). In short, I find this song very nostalgic even if I listen to it like you since very recently!

​@@aibhe yes, sadly... I wonder how it would have been like if he was. Thankfully, Fontaine's soundtrack is quite nice, it keeps most of the level of how good Genshin's soundtrack has always been. But it's not the same... it's pretty, but there's something lacking. There's an elegance and unique feel to Yu Peng Chen's works in Genshin. I think he can never truly be replaced.

(**Spoilers warning, please read with caution **) Somehow, I feel this theme is deeply connected to Lyney too especially, after all, it's where he performs his magic show, and rise as the greatest magician of Fontaine, yet, ironically it's also a place that his trial was held, and he was accused for committing terrible crimes, and his reputation seemed to drop to the bottom of the depths when his true identity was unveiled. It's like a mask he had always put on his face, finally disintegrate and vanish into nothingness. His fake smiles, his magic trickery, his arrogance and pride as the greatest magician.....and all of his act....just fade away, leaving only the pure, unfiltered Lyney, who he always is, deep down, no matter which path he choose to take in the future- His heart, remains true to himself.

i agree with this, to me, i feel as is he may have 2 personalities, one he shows with arlecchino (this is just s speculation dont hate) and one he shows to the crowd. because a fan favorite cant learn to lie this well and for this long to such a huge crowd unless he has done it for so long elsewhere...or with someone else

No, it stopped working because Focalors' divinity is dead. There's no way around that unless somehow the Devs make it where Furina gains the divinity powers and recreate the Oratrice but I doubt it since Furina has no interest being an Archon anymore.
